Board of Christian Education The Board of Christian Education is responsible for the development, supervision and evaluation of Christian education and educational activities for all age groups, and for the integration of the teaching curriculum into the lives of the Church families. The Board shall actively promote the use of the Scriptures throughout the whole Parish. The Board shall meet regularly with the Administrator of Christian Education, who shall be a non-voting member of the Board, to plan, develop and carry out Christian education. The Board of Christian Education shall report to the Council at each monthly meeting and to the congregation at the annual meeting.
The Board shall be composed of four persons, two of whom shall be Church members, one person to be elected each year to serve a four-year term. After two consecutive terms, two years must elapse before reelection for a subsequent term of service. Additional Board members may be elected to serve for one year. The Board shall annually select one of its members, who must be a Church member, to serve as chairperson.
