Board of Deacons
The Board of Deacons is responsible for the spiritual life of the Church:  the conduct of worship including the distribution of the
Sacraments, the securing of supply and interim pastors and all manner of pastoral care.  The Board of Deacons reports to the
Council at each monthly Council meeting and to the congregation at the annual meeting.

The Board of Deacons is comprised of eight church members, two members to be elected each year to serve a four-year term. 
Persons considered for the Diaconate should be known and respected for their maturity, strength of character, and Christian
commitment, and should have demonstrated competence consistent with the service they are called to render.  Once elected,
a Deacon shall be considered a Deacon for life, but two years must elapse before reelection for a subsequent four-year term
of active service.
