Ladies' Benevolent Society

The Ladies Benevolent Society, also known as the L.B.S., is the longest serving continuously active organization of the Dudley Hill First Congregational Church. Organized on April 18, 1867, the L.B.S. currently has 30 active members and one honorary member. Meetings are held at ​1:00 pm on the second Thursday of each month, September through May, unless otherwise indicated. Each meeting commences with a devotion/prayer followed by fellowship over baked goods, tea and coffee, after which some type of program is offered.  Programs are open to one and all.   Currently membership is limited to women, but men are more than welcome to attend meetings and/or events.
